Pipeline Pumping Station Fabrication

Niles and Mendon, Michigan
Industry: Oil and Gas

Project Scope

CR Meyer performed the Line 6B Phase 2 Replacement Project which included replacing approximately 210 miles of an existing Line 6B crude oil pipeline in Indiana and Michigan along with the installation of new pumping stations. This project was designed to meet current and future pipeline transportation needs. Line 6B is an integral part of the region’s critical energy infrastructure, providing a secure and reliable supply of crude oil to a number of regional refineries.  During the course of this project, CR Meyer performed all of the piping pre-fabrication in our fabrication shop.  We worked closely with the customer’s inspectors to get the fabrication completed within specifications, on time and under budget.
