Established in 1888 by Charles Rudolph Meyer in Oshkosh, WI, CR Meyer is an industrial general contractor with eight satellite offices strategically located across the United States. In the Engineering News Record (ENR), we consistently place in the publication’s Top 400 Contractors and in the top 20 industrial contractors as well as rank in the top 5 contractors in the pulp and paper industry.
CR Meyer regularly employs over 1,000 skilled union tradespeople across nine market sectors. We employ boilermakers, carpenters, concrete finishers, electricians, laborers, ironworkers, masons, millwrights, pile drivers and pipefitters. CR Meyer’s engineers, architects and project managers creatively partner with customers to design for optimum constructability to meet the customers most rigorous quality, budgetary and timeline objectives.
In 2007, CR Meyer started self-performing piping. By 2011, CR Meyer established a fabrication shop. The fabrication shop moved to its current location of Kaukauna, WI, in 2013. The decision to get into fabrication gave CR Meyer more flexibility to supply and install process pipe while having much more control on the project schedule and budget.
With over 130 years of history, CR Meyer has a wide range of experience and expertise. The values we share as a company – and the good people who make us who we are – have shaped this proud history.
